As a recovering alcoholic, I understand how addiction controls your life. It’s your best friend and your worst enemy all at the same time. Once it has you, it fights fiercely to keep you. It is a hard demon to tackle without the love and support of others. Developing Clarity Way has helped me stay sober. My desire is to help others find sobriety as well. All you need is a strong desire and we can teach you the skills you need to succeed. Environment is important to me so I built a first class facility. Every detail in the facility was designed with a recovering client in mind. I have been to rehab twice. It took two very different experiences for me to be able to achieve the sobriety that I have today. My first experience with rehab was at a well-known, institutionalized 12-step facility. The approach didn’t work for me because I was so stressed out that I couldn’t focus on helping myself. Without my cell phone and computer, I was at a loss to take care of any problems that might have come up in my business. As a business owner, the company is dependant on me. I wanted sobriety, not more work stress. My contact with the outside world was so restricted; I was distracted with what was going on out of my reach. The approach and philosophy didn’t work for me. I knew when I left, I wasn’t finished with drinking.
I was sober for a while before I relapsed, and at that point I knew that I needed something drastically different than the previous experience. I checked myself into an expensive West Coast spa facility that was very focused on the metaphysical self. The philosophy made sense and I was thrilled to be in a luxurious setting. Although it worked for me, I knew the spa was lacking in some important services. My entrepreneurial side kicked in and I immediately started planning my dream facility. This Website offers you a taste of that dream. All you need is the desire and we can lead you to a life of sobriety. Clarity Way is the facility I wish I had found during my struggles with addiction. I hope you benefit from my experiences.

Drug and alcohol addiction affects the entire family. My children never witnessed my husband drinking, but they felt the effects of the alcoholic behavior every day. Addicts are often withdrawn, living in their private world of addiction. The pain of addiction touches everyone who loves the addict. Our first experience with rehab was very frightening for me. The children and I were cut off from all contact with my husband. I had no idea how or what he was doing. In the modern world of instant contact, it was a very isolating feeling. After the first week we were permitted our first weekly visitation. It was an awkward experience walking into a room full of families with no privacy to talk. Our boys didn’t understand why Daddy couldn’t come home with us. Our ten year old was obsessed with the thought of Daddy taking cold showers every day-hot water was scarce. Plus, he wasn’t allowed to show us where he slept. This was a frightening thought for children struggling to make sense of the entire issue. We made it through the 30 days with high hopes of never returning to such a prison. Unfortunately, Justin wasn’t ready for recovery. All he knew was that he would never return to such a facility. He also became much better at hiding his addiction. Our second experience with rehab was completely different. We opted for an expensive West Coast spa rehab. He was able to use his cell phone whenever he had free time. We were totally connected during his 30 day stay. We learned a lot and hashed out issues each day as they came up in his therapy sessions. He realized a week into his stay that he wanted to develop a program like the spa but with top notch medical treatment. He knew it was going to be his life goal, second to sobriety. This type of program made sense to us and it worked for him and our family. We wanted to develop our own program that was nurturing and compassionate with amazing amenities, without clients having to re-mortgage their homes. Hot showers and good food was first on our list of amenities. My brother’s musician friend inspired us to build a recording/practice studio. His experience in rehab offered only a closet in which he could write music and play guitar. He wrote beautiful music, but we thought it would be more comfortable to release creative energy in a real studio during treatment. We knew we could offer all of these amenities and more in the comfortable and beautifully serene setting of rural Pennsylvania. Our treatment program was going to be supervised by the best and brightest the addiction field had to offer. We vowed that spouses and children would feel that their loved one was in a safe place. We wanted the entire family to feel loved and nurtured the moment they walked through our doors.
You are probably a lot like us and can identify with our story. You or your loved one needs help and you are trying to find the best fit for your family. I can promise you that we understand your pain. We have lived it and we came out on the other side. Sober living has truly been a gift for us. We know, from personal experience, it is possible. We hope you let us help your family find your way back to sobriety.
